Hello All! Welcome to the Dynamic Spine Calculator download page. This calculator was developed to aid the traditional archer in defining the appropriate arrow setup to match a given bow design. That formulas are derived primarily from modern deflex/reflex longbow and recurve designs based on actual shooting experience coupled with basic engineering principles. The goal here is to provide a “simple to use” tool that will provide a good starting point for which the archer can simply fine tune his bow to get excellent arrow flight. Hopefully this will save time, money, and the inevitable frustration that plaques the beginning archer when attempting to tune a new bow & arrow combination. There is a complete set of numbered instructions that correlate to the needed inputs included in the spreadsheet. There are also some tips included to help the journey along. Feel free to email me directly at: hkg3sg1@sbcglobal.net with any questions and I will be happy to help wherever possible. Constructive criticism and suggestions for continuous improvement are also always welcome! Have fun and shoot straight, -Stu Miller | |||||||||
